Soul Food-New Moon: Time to Come Out of That Comfort Zone!
Pay attention; I’m giving you the rundown on starting your 2024 year off to a great start, especially regarding your career. Most importantly, though, your fame and reputation are what you want to be known for. Follow my instructions later in this blog, especially when discussing the Feng Shui Ba Gua, the New Moon in Capricorn, and the Treasure Mapping process that The Secret calls Vision Board.
Let’s Face It! For those of you who have studied under me and taken my Louise Hay classes, Astrology classes, and Treasure Mapping Workshops, we know back in the day, it was called Treasure Mapping by no one other than Catherine Ponder and Shakti Gawain.
Today’s New Moon occurred at 6:57 am EST at 20* Capricorn. The Moon will stay in Capricorn until 10:01 pm EST tonight. However, it will go Void of Course at 9:33 pm, so follow the instructions accordingly. AFTER 10:01 pm, the Moon enters Aquarius, a FIXED sign. The four FIXED signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius. If you want something to endure, stay solid, and last an eternity, start it during a FIXED sign, so I recommend you do your Treasure Map Friday day or night; or Saturday during the day while the Moon is in Aquarius.
Now for the Feng Shui aspect of it. For those of you who had the good fortune to attend my Understanding How to Use Feng Shui with your Chart & the Lunar Cycles, you’re ahead of the game! For the rest of you, look at this Ba Gua, where you ENTER your house (the front door) and the Career (center bottom of the Ba Gua) at your front door. Looking to the BACK of your home from here, go to the middle top square Fame & Reputation (this is where the New Capricorn Moon will be activated). Today’s New Moon makes a beautiful trine (favorable) aspect to Uranus; get the Hell out of your comfort zone and go DO YOU! Be Brave; try something you’ve only dreamed about! Do something you usually wouldn’t consider doing because you’re too worried about what other people think. Uranus acts like a tornado; it comes in quickly and suddenly and upsets the apple cart when it does, so PAY ATTENTION. Don’t blink, or you may miss a golden opportunity. You may make new friends of an eccentric nature during this phase, pull up your Big Girl/Boy Pants, and try some new technology while you’re at it.
This is also an excellent time to break bad habits and leave that unhealthy relationship or friendship that’s been toxic for too long now! The other planets are also doing their fair share of making this New Capricorn Moon a sweet one. Warrior Mars has teamed up with Expansive, Good Fortune Jupiter and is not only increasing your inertia but giving your sex drive a boost. Think the Energizer Bunny on Steroids! Mars is also shaking hands with Master Taskmaster Saturn (Capricorn’s Ruler), which gives you the endurance to finish any project. You won’t need that little blue pill. Not to be left out, Jupiter (Santa Claus of the Zodiac) also forms a lovely bond with bold, daring Mars. Personal growth may come from overseas or higher education.
