Soul Food-New Moon/December Starr Scopes & Your Zodiac Holiday Cookie
This weekend, depending on which side of the coast you’re on, Dec 3rd, 11:43pm/PST & Dec 4th, 2:43am/EST we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 12* Sagittarius, (the last one in Sagittarius until 2029). The Centaur is ready for adventure and he’s aiming his bow-and-arrow high in the sky, setting his mark on moving beyond his/her comfort zone.
Eclipses reach us at a deeper soul level, moving beyond superficiality and the ego. This Solar Eclipse can bring fresh starts that come from a level that’s been lying dormant like a volcano waiting to erupt. If you’ve been longing to bring more spirituality, a deeper understanding of your psyche, then this is for you.
However, we must be open to expanding our level of awareness and moving beyond our comfort zones, (ouch you say), remember the fruit doesn’t grow near the trunk of the tree you’ve got to climb out on a limb! Not only do you have to have faith in yourself, but you must also believe in the almighty Universe to handle its part of the deal. Skeptics, beware…this will either make you a believer or cause you to run like a bat out of Hell, your choice.
Say “Hello” to taking risks on a higher level, raising the bar. Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius likes to expand everything it touches, so keep an eye on your alcohol intake, and your dare-devil antics, saying a prayer of protection might help (just saying). It’s time to question what’s working for you and what needs to be thrown out with the trash. Your belief systems may be ready for a tune-up as you look at what you want moving forward. Let go of old habits, people, places, and things that no longer serve who you are and who you are becoming. Make way for sailing uncharted waters and out-of-the-box thinking shifting into 2022.
This new moon conjuncts Mercury, Messenger of the Gods, placing your communications, short (Gemini) & long-distance (Sag) travel, increase in personal interactions via phone, text, mail, neighborhood, and the infamous social media at the forefront. You will no doubt be a busy little beaver, sp plan your time wisely.
A harsh aspect to Uranus (change-agent) may cause an unsettling change in plans, coming in from out-of-the-blue. A favorable (sextile) aspect to Saturn (task-master) can help ground you and avoid you blowing a fuse, and keep you focused on the Holiday tasks at hand. Your boss may even commend you on a job well done.
