The New Moon in Libra is occurring on October 6th, Wednesday 4:05am/PDT & 7:05am/EDT at 13* Libra. Mercury is still Retrograde in Libra, which explains why my PC, tablet, phone and printer are all acting as if they’ve been abducted and inhabited by aliens! This Retrograde for myself has been one of the worst that I’ve experienced in a long time. It started at least three weeks back when the shadow period of Mercury Retrograde was activated.
However, moving forward let’s take a look at the upcoming new moon. The New Moon conjunct the Sun in Libra is also conjuncting Mars and forming a quincunx to Uranus. Pluto is going direct about seven hours later (from the new moon) at 11:29am/PDT & 2:29pm/EDT at 24* Capricorn and four days later Saturn is going direct on Oct. 10th, 7:17pm/PDT & 10:17pm/EDT at 6* Aquarius.
Let me spell this out for you, Libra energy, the keyword is balance and relationships, business/personal. With all this action, especially the Mars energy, we’re going to feel a pull to make a move, do something, and/or take action. Just hold your horses, Mercury is still Retrograde until Oct. 18th. With Saturn going direct, definitely make a long-term plan, be patient and disciplined while biding your time for the Retrograde and post-shadow period to pass.
The Pluto station direct, is the ending of something that has been a long time coming and is no longer working for who you are and who you are becoming, This is good news, think of it as a death and rebirth, the Phoenix rising from the proverbial ashes. This occurs (as mentioned earlier) a few hours after the New Moon.
With Mars making a harsh aspect to Uranus, remain flexible, be prepared for the unexpected, and don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. Forewarned is forearmed, change is a good thing, it’s the Universe’s way of saying “this isn’t working anymore.” But for those of us who are hard of hearing or just plain stubborn, sometimes we have to get hit over the head with a two-by-four.
Use the Mars energy in a constructive way, wherever it lands in your chart, take advantage of the warrior-courage, brave, action-oriented energy and do something constructive with it. Look at it as you’ve just been given an extra shot of adrenaline that will last longer than the effects of your drinking a Redbull. Remember, this energy is a fire-cracker and can explode, so stay clear of anyone or anything that can fuel the flame and is carrying matches.
