Soul Food-Full Moon Lunar Eclipse/Pandora’s Box has been Opened…
This coming Tuesday, Nov. 8th (Election Day), we’re having a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 16* Taurus (Moon) & 16* Scorpio (Sun) at 3:02 am/PST & 6:02 am/EST. To add to the mix Uranus (Sudden Events) is conjuncting with the Moon (family, home, emotions), which is opposing the (Sun) which is conjuncting Mercury (communications). At the same time, we have a T-Square (challenging aspect) to Saturn (fear, limitations, depression). Whew, that’s a lot; not to worry, I’m about to spell it out for you.
Taurus: represents our value system & our finances/security
Uranus: our freedom, sudden events (think Gomer Pyle: SURPRISE, SURPRISE SURPRISE (currently in Taurus)
Scorpio: deep, digging, death/rebirth, transformation, secrets
Sun: our identity, self (currently in Scorpio)
Mercury: how we communicate, our thoughts (currently in Scorpio)
Aquarius: new age, freedom, sudden change, adaptability
Saturn: our limitations, discipline, structure, fears (currently in Aquarius)
Our value systems need to be revisited; what we think about home, family and relationships might need a revamp. Go back six months ago to the Lunar Eclipse on May 15th. It’s time to clear the emotional baggage, “what no longer serves who you are and who you are becoming.” This isn’t the first time you’ve heard that phrase from me. Full Moons are about purging, do a deep Soul cleanse; this one is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse and is loaded with a plethora of other Planetary Players.
Please look at your relationship dynamics and cut bait (as we say in the fishing world). Think of a piano with one “key” out-of-tune; it can alter the sound of a beautiful concerto and turn it into a bunch of howling cats and dogs sitting on a backyard fence. What’s missing in your relationships? Where do you need to fine-tune? Is there a member of your relationship orchestra that just doesn’t fit your symphony of life?
With the Scorpio Mercury opposite the Moon/Uranus conjunction, it’s time to s-l-o-w down your thinking; think before you speak should be your mantra, lest you come down with the foot-in-mouth disease. Secrets may pop out of your mouth or the mouth of others (politics) that have been hidden for a long time. Pandora’s box has just been opened, and someone threw away the key. Remember the Gomer Pyle reference above – surprise, surprise, surprise?
Flexibility is needed; Uranus doesn’t ask permission “may I come for a visit?” NO! He shows up at your door uninvited! However, you’ve been forewarned; remember, adaptability is the key here. Besides, maybe it’s time for a CHANGE, and Uranus will surely bring it to you! Endings and beginnings are commonplace when Uranus comes for dinner.
With the T-square to Saturn, he’s just the older uncle, who, whenever he came to dinner, the party just got somber. You’re asking, “who invited Mr. Doom & Gloom to the diner party?” Not to worry, he’ll help you decide where you need structure and discipline in your life (did you r-e-a-l-l-y need to drink TWO bottles of Cabernet?) Don’t fall prey to the Fearmonger; he’ll soon pass through.
