In the year 2000 a movie called Pay It Forward came out with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt. It’s a touching story about a young boy in grade school. I won’t go into it for those of you who may not of seen it. The premise is we “pay it forward” in life by helping others, similar to a domino effect.
I remember learning from one of my Guru’s Edwene Gaines whatever you want to get back in life give it out. For example, if you want more time on your hands, give your time away. If you want more money in your pocket, tithe to where you’re spiritually fed. I tithe and thrive! If you want more love in your life, give love to everyone who meet. I think you get the picture.
I became a tither about 27 years ago or so, and haven’t looked back. For myself, it’s been proven to me time and time again. Just when I think my resources are running low, I check my tithe book (yes, I keep a record of every penny to make sure I’m current on my tithes) and immediately send out a tithe if I’m behind. Every single time I do this, unexpected money comes to me; I tithe and thrive. I remember listening to Edwene speak at one of her lectures and someone in the audience said “but I can’t afford to tithe,” and Edwene said in her candid Alabama accent, “Honey, you can’t afford NOT to.”
Today I’d like to “pay it forward” in another way. I’ve been working together in a group with some pretty awesome people around the country, and I’d like to pass their information on to you today:
- Collen Shannon Geese Patrol (for environmentally ridding your premise of extra geese)
- Jenny Budzynski Cakes (for any occasion)
- Heather Huppman Health & Beauty (you deserve to look & feel your best)
- Sherrie Marchi Off-Ramp Coaching (check it out)
- Shelly Malone Change Your Diet (Change Your Life)
- Betsy Pake Barbell Betsy (Nutrition Ninja)
These are just a few in a pool full of Badasses, oh yea we can’t forget Jen Thebigcheese (I’ve written about her before on this blog).
As you go through your week, remember whatever it is you want in your life, give that away. My continued gratitude to my readers for your continued support, and love!
PS Here’s an affirmation for you: “Whatever I need-whenever I need it, wherever I need it, for as long as I need it-is always at hand. I give what I want to receive; giving is my Divine nature.”
Namaste,
