Soul Food-TV Show Virgo/New Moon Ritual/Astrology Classes
We had a new moon Saturday at 1:17am/PDT & 4:17am/EDT at 4* Virgo. You are still in the phase of doing your New Moon Abundance Check and a Feng Shui ritual which I will address in the next couple of paragraphs.
This new moon brings a harsh square to Mars in Gemini, at a 0* orb (a tight square making the influence strong). The square aspect of astrology is challenging; therefore, beware of impatience, anger, and violent outbursts. The good news is by the time you read this; this aspect will be losing its strength. However, it’s still not the time to throw caution to the wind.
Let’s focus on the positive aspects. Although it’s the Planet of War, Mars brings action, courage, and energy to start a new project or finish the ones you started last month. The new moon in Virgo will lend to your organizational skills; it’s time to put your office, kitchen, and body in order. Trying a new health regime would gain the energy of the Virgo new moon.
I learned a lot about Feng Shui’s new moon astrology from Simone Butler when I lived in San Diego, from being a member of the SDAS (San Diego Astrological Society), of which I am still currently a member. I recommend her book Astro Feng Shui. Since this new moon was in Virgo, it activated the health area in the Feng Shui Bagua. If you imagine your home as a tic-tac-toe board from the entrance of your front door, the middle square would be the health Bagua. To activate that area, use square or triangular containers, put some fresh yellow flowers in a vase or terra cotta container, and add some fresh herbs and a bowl of lemons. Wala!
