Soul Food ~ The Three F’s of Life

July 18, 2014by Eva Starr0

I want to share with you an old rule of the Universe, there are three things in life worth knowing about and living it through in reality.

Those three things are Freedom, Fun, and Friends. Let me elaborate on the aforementioned items.

  1. free, jpegFreedom: When I speak about freedom, I, Eva Starr, am referring to the ability to be “free to be who YOU are”…yes, that is all there is to it. Simply put, be WHO YOU ARE! This is something that I do well, much to the chagrin of many along my path, (but really who cares about the ‘dream-crushers’ of the world). Being FREE to be who you you are simply means: being true to yourself and your values, living your life in alignment to your soul’s path, (not the path of others) following your heart; even if it means losing your job, relationship, or being outcast from your family.
  2. Fun: When is the last time you had fun? I mean REALLY FUN? You may be among the lucky ones and have fun just about everyday of your life. Good for you, hold on to that! Then again, you may be like ‘some’ of us, and have your nose buried to the grindstone, and spend more time with the concerns about others, than ha ving a little time for FUN in YOUR life. Remember you life needs “balance” so if you’re one of those people who work hard, then play hard. To whatever degree you work needs to be balanced with FUN, and let’s not forget your Soul. Balance your work, your play, but don’t forget your spirituality.
  3. Friends: I went “Glamping” for my birthday and had a not so great time to put it mildly. The history behind that is, my youngest daughter (Shayna) & I went camping at least four times a summer the whole time she was growing up. We went all over, (Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, New York, & Canada) so camping by myself recently was not the “same.” friendsExperiences are meant to be shared with others, that’s what it’s all about. We all make friends along life’s path, some stay, some come and go, and others are simply put there to get us through a certain time of our life. Whatever the reason someone crosses your path, be sure to cherish those friendships. I’ve been very fortunate to have some friends from Ohio visit over the last couple of weeks here in Cali. Dennis & Debbie Rush came out the end of June, and my “girl” friends Char & Mary Anne are out attending classes at the Course in Miracles Foundation  in Temecula. Char, Mary Anne & I took off right where we left off in Cleveland, (when we used to do “Girls Night Out” at my place every couple of months). See the video below, enjoy a  chuckle or two, (I did) and remember the Three “F’s” of your life.

Here’s a video of how we do “Girls Night Out” in Cali, enjoy. Thank you all for your kindness and support. Click below…
