October is jam-packed with planetary transits, planets going from retrograde to direct, and planets entering a new sign.
The new moon last week is asking us to reevaluate how we balance our lives. If you’re a type A personality like myself, you tend for the pendulum to swing heavy. We must look at balance as we balance our work and play to lead more fruitful lives.
Everything is listed on my Starr Scopes page, the exact dates and the degrees & of the planets; please refer to that. I’m only going to touch on a few critical aspects here. My October Starr Scopes includes Halloween costumes for your Zodiac sign.
I will always write a blog about the New and Full Moons when those events are nearing.
In the following paragraphs, I will refer to dates in astrology when these aspects and/or transits last appeared as a reference for you to check back in your world and reflect on what was happening at the time.
Oct. 2nd: Mercury is going direct at 24* Virgo; thank you, God! You want to look back at what was going on in your life around August 20th– August 21st of this year, 2022, as Mercury moves direct at 24 degrees Virgo. It’ll be reminiscent of what was happening when it was stationary at the same degree.
We looked at our organizational skills, how we deal with our everyday routines, habits, and where we give service.
However, there is an opposition to Neptune; the left brain is talking logic to us. The right brain, opposing Neptune, has our head in the clouds while our feet are still on the ground. Our job is to take the rose-colored glasses off or at least clean them and ascertain reality from the magical, mystical Unicorn in the sky.
Oct. 8th: Pluto is going direct at 20 degrees Capricorn; you want to go back to what was going on in your life around January 5th, 2022. Pluto is the slowest moving planet. It’s about slow transformation; it’s about intensity; it’s about going deep deeper than you’ve ever dared to tread before. It’s the cocoon turning into the butterfly; look to see where the metamorphosis was going in your life.
Oct. 10th: Mercury enters Libra. Go back to around August 25th, 2022, to get a feel of what this transit will bring up for you. Libra is about relationships and balance. All Libra wants is for all of us to get along. Take it from Kenny Chesney Get Along
As Mercury moves out of Virgo into Libra, the energy changes from Heavy Metal & Hip Hop dancing to Bocelli and the ballet. Enjoy the shift from fight-or-flight to the rest-and-digest mode, or perhaps just the feeling of peace. Relax, meditate, BE.
Oct. 23rd: Saturn goes Direct: Go back to around Feb. 26th, 2022 – Saturn stationary direct is a reminder to take our responsibilities seriously and come back down to earth. For the last year and a half, Saturn has been squaring Uranus, conformity versus chaos, tradition versus revolution. Oct. 23rd: Venus enters Scorpio; go back to Nov. 21, 2020 – This is everything Venus in Libra is NOT. It’s about digging deep, looking, and healing those dark places that only the black widow spider dares to enter, casting shadows aside.
Skeletons come out of your romantic closets in nothing but bare bones. You can run, but you can’t hide. Dial M for Murder, Fatal Attraction, and Basic Instinct illustrates this Scorpionic love clearly.
Secrets about sex, power, and money are about to be unlocked. If you want intensity at its highest level and passion beyond measure, fasten your seat belts and hold on for the ride of your life.
Oct. 27th: Jupiter Rx re-enters Pisces; look back to around May 10, 2022 – Also, go back to the year 2011, the last time Jupiter was transiting Pisces, for a flashback of what kind of energy this transit brought you.
This is where we fall down the alluring magical rabbit hole with no hopes of returning to reality. Off in the distance, through the haze of clouds, we see our Prince Charming riding toward us on his white horse. We have visions of white-picket fences dancing in our heads until we awake from the dream.
Enjoy this while it lasts; keep the key close to your heart and your eyes wide-open. This Retrograde Jupiter is asking us to do a spiritual inventory. The lines between our material instincts and our spiritual growth have faded. Let’s do some journaling, meditation, and Soul-searching, so we’re clear where we’re headed and what our vision is before Jupiter stations direct in Pisces on Nov. 22, 2022, then re-entering Aries again on Dec. 20, 2022.
