Soul Food-New Moon/Saturn Enters Aries
The new moon, a significant astrological event, occurs today at 11:02 pm EDT & 8:02 pm PDT for my West Coast friends at 6* of Gemini. It forms a trine, a harmonious aspect, with Pluto, God of the Underworld, and Mercury, the Messenger. This alignment presents an opportunity for you to gather information (Mercury), review your past actions, and make necessary changes (Pluto). Remember, if you resist making these changes, you’ll upset Pluto, which you don’t want to do.
I know where in my life I need to make some changes. I’ve known for a while, but have not always listened to or heeded Spirit’s advice. However, I don’t want the repercussions if I refuse to listen. I’ve been there, and it was not a fun ride!
If you spend time in silence, meditate, sit with nature, or take a long sea salt bath (whatever your method of connecting with Spirit), you will receive power messages, and secrets will be revealed. Pluto is NOT an overnight thing, so if you’re like me, you’re already aware of the changes needed in your life.
Each new moon offers a chance for a fresh start. I love the new moon; it’s a second chance to pay attention and implement change. If you didn’t do such a good job the month before, don’t worry. Remember to do your New Moon Abundance Check, a practice where you write a check to yourself for an amount of money you want to manifest and believe you will receive it. This is a time to tap into your creativity and develop innovative ideas to prosper and grow financially and spiritually.
The Sun is conjunct Mercury, a celestial event that can be likened to Siamese Twins—they are bound at the hip. This aspect in Gemini highlights all matters of communication, intellectual awareness, increased interaction within the community, short-distance travel, and the Internet. This is a time to raise your cerebral curiosity up a notch or two. Expect these next two weeks to be busy; get out and about, meet new people, go to uncharted waters, take a chance, raise your social and intellectual IQ.
With the Sun shaking hands with Pluto, your confidence is increased, and strength and determination are at an all-time high; you feel more in control over your life now as if someone just handed you some Kryptonite, and you can fly. This is the time to bury yourself in research, psychology, astrology, and whatever other science intrigues you. Don’t be surprised if you meet someone at this time who feels fated or Karmic, transforming your life at the exact right time and the exact right place.
