Soul Food-New Moon/Pluto is Saying Goodbye/Mars is Looking Back

Hello again. I didn’t leave; I just took a rather lengthy hiatus. I’m still raising my granddaughter, and we’re going through an extensive adoption process. The New Moon, a harbinger of fresh starts, graced us early this morning on the East Coast at 8:47 AM and for my West Coast friends at 5:47 AM. Nestled at 9° Scorpio, it forms a delightful connection with Saturn, promising stability and structure in our lives. Please take a moment to locate Saturn in your chart, as it will illuminate the areas of your life that this New Moon Saturn aspect will positively influence.

On the other side of the fence, the Scorpionic traits are represented by characteristics such as power, control, and intensity. As if that wasn’t enough, Mars and Pluto are at war. They oppose themselves in the sky. Who will remain the winner? That’s a tough one to call when it comes to Mars, the Warrior planet, and Pluto, the God of the Underworld. I advise putting sugar in your boots for the next few days and leaving your fighting gloves at home.

This aspect will peak on November 3rd, but Mars likes to attend the party early. On the one hand, Pluto creates power and intensity. Pair that with Mars, which represents competition and aggressiveness, and it doesn’t like to back down from a fight. You’ve got an IED on your hands.

Calm down; there is no need to go underground in the bomb shelter just yet. Mercury is playing nice with Mars and can bring quick thinking and direct communication. However, I warn you to use words to encourage and harmonize. If you tick Mars off and start vomiting at the mouth with inflammatory words, then you’re going to need a fire extinguisher to put out that verbal warfare.

Remember, regardless of the other party players, all New Moons represent fresh starts and new beginnings.
