Soul Food-New Moon Leo/Opportunities, Unexpected News, Change is a Comin’
Thursday, July 28th at 10:55am/PDT & 1:55pm/EDT occurring at 5* Leo, we have a New Moon. This is a mixed bag of too much fun in the Sun, or another way to phrase it, Let the Good Times Roll but put an ankle bracelet on those happy feet of yours. Along with this new moon, which is trining (favorable aspect) Jupiter (the Santa Claus of the Zodiac) the headline news of the day is Mercury is squaring Uranus/Mars (which are lined up right next to each other).
Mercury is the News Reporter, and the vehicle by which we transmit our messages. 
Uranus, is the lightning bolt, in the thunderstorm that just hit your town, and the weatherman was blind-sided, because he didn’t see it coming. Mars is along for the ride with Uranus, but is dressed in full combat-gear and is ready for a fight, whether you asked for it or not.
There is a positive side to this, based on the scenario I’ve just laid out for you:
- take your control grip off the wheel
- remain flexible
- keep eyes/ears open for any opportunities
- take the word colossal out of your vocabulary & replace it with moderation, (drugs, alcohol, food, partying)
- think before you act (take the foot out-of-your-mouth)
- be prepared for anything
This new moon brings opportunities for spiritual growth (Jupiter) and other 9th house matters, (higher-education, law, foreign travel/affairs). Another plus, is you have the opportunity to view things with innovative glasses. Ideas may come to you that you haven’t pondered before. Breakthroughs are possible, along with chance encounters of a third kind.
