Soul Food – New Moon in Virgo/See into the Future
Happy Labor Day weekend to all. I’m getting ready to head to a Pig Roast but wanted to make sure I got this out to you before I left.
First off, if you didn’t get a chance to read my September Starr Scopes that I posted on Facebook Thursday here’s the link Starr Scopes.
Monday, September 6th, we have a New Moon in Virgo, 14* 38′ at 5:52pm/PDT & 8:52pm/EDT. This New Moon makes a beautiful aspect to Uranus, the out-of-the-blue change-maker, while also making aspects to a couple of fixed stars Coxa & Porrima, which will lend to heightening our psychic ability. Fasten your seat belts, keep a journal of all your hunches/intuitions during this time, and get ready for a ride on the proverbial roller-coaster in the sky.
New Moons are great for turning over a new leaf in life, making fresh starts, especially regarding your routines and health as it is happening in the 6th house (house of service, habits, health, pets). As I mentioned earlier this new moon is making a trine to Uranus at a zero degree orb and one minute. In Astrology that is as tight as an orb you can get, which means it’s an incredibly strong aspect, and a beautiful one at that!
Open the flood gates, bring it on Baby. Come out of that comfort zone you’ve got yourself embroiled in. Uranus rules unconventional, out-of-the-box thinkers, be ready to walk on over to the other side to see how the rest of the world lives, you may be surprised. Remember we all breathe the same air, but we just do it in different outfits, listen to different music and speak different languages. Be prepared for the Universal Language of Love to stop in and pay a visit, depending on which house this new moon occurs in your chart. (Contact your local astrologer for more info (hint: Eva Starr)
With Uranus in the mix, it’s also a good time to join a cause, you can be the next James Dean (A Rebel Without A Cause)…volunteer in your community, start a grass roots campaign, cheer for the underdog. Let’s not forget with the aspect to the aforementioned fixed stars, put on your Gypsy garb and dust off the crystal ball.
Candle Color: yellow-green, white.
Crystals/Stones: peridot, jasper, clear quartz, black moonstone
Herbs/Tea: rosemary, lavender
How this new moon affects your zodiac sign
Thank you for your continued love & support, which enables me to work with Spirit following my passion,
