The reason I am enchanted by the moon, and know quite a bit about how the moon affects us and the planet is because I am a Cancer (Zodiac sign) and the moon is my ruling planet. I’ve been watching the moon since I can remember living on a fifty-acre farm in Geauga county as a little girl. Although then I didn’t understand the reason I was so fascinated by that luminous silvery ball in the sky.
Until a little later in childhood when I started studying Astrology and found out WHY I was so bewitched by the mysterious, mystifying, ball of light in the solar system. The moon has the power to move the tides in and out. The largest ocean on this planet Earth is the Pacific Ocean 60 million square miles of water. Our bodies are made up of 66% water, 78% for infants. If the moon has the power to move that amount of water (oceans) no wonder it affects us in the way it does.
Go back to the seeds you planted on August 21st, the Solar Eclipse, and look there at your intentions to get a better understanding at what you want to harvest coming up. Those seeds you planted in the garden of your minds back then, are growing into manifestations now.
This is a Pisces Moon at 14* opposing 14* Virgo Sun, which means the dreamy, illusory planet of Neptune (God of the Seas) facing off with the methodical, analytical planet Mercury, the Messenger of the Gods. Grab your dream journals and keep a close watch on your dream-time for visions of grandeur to appear. Follow your intuition and delve into your soul for answers that lie deep within the depths of your subconscious.
Mercury will be going direct on Tuesday, at 7:29am but don’t jump right into signing on the dotted line, it takes a few days for the Mercurial ashes to settle. This full moon will shine the light on what’s been hidden, it’s also a time of release (Pisces being the last sign of the zodiac), cleansing rituals are in the forefront. You may want to consider a Chakra cleansing as well.
Go by the sea, lake, river or whatever body of water is near you, and let the water nurture your soul. If you don’t have a body of water near you, a hot-tub, or bath-tub will do. Take a sea salt bath, or Epsom salt and use the essential oils of Pisces, which are bergamot, jasmine, and frankincense.
