Hello Friday blog readers:
I’ve been under the weather off & on during this lovely Cleveland weather here in Ohio. For those who know me, it’s hard for me to rest and do NOTHING! Although I’ve been trying to let go of the constant urge (or need) to always be doing something, (more on that in another blog). With all this “rest” time, my brain has been in overdrive, coming up with more things to add to my already overloaded “to do” list.
One of the plethora of things is creating #firsttimefridays. This is where you do something you’ve never done before, hence the term #firsttimefridays. It’s good for the Soul and the mind & body, to try new things. I have to search long and hard to come up with everyday “first time” things, because I start more new things than there are stars in the Universe, (my Aries Rising, I can’t help myself.)
However, for those of you who stay closer to your comfort zone, this feat may be a bit more challenging. Here’s some examples to get you started:
- take a new route to work
- try Sushi for the first time
- go to a different Happy Hour you’ve never been to before
- have breakfast for dinner
- put your phone away for an entire day (did I just hear some gasping in the crowd?)
- walk your dog on a new street or take him/her to a new dog park
- try a different soup, other than your “go to” Chicken Noodle
- part your hair on the other side
- if you never wear jeans “wear jeans”
- if you never take the RTA, bus or the subway, take it
- sign up for an Astrology class
- learn how to cook something you’ve never made before
I’m pretty sure by now you get the idea. Just imagine, if you try something for the FIRST TIME every Friday, by the end of the month you will have tried 4-5 new things. PLEASE, email me at [email protected] with you #firsttimefridays things, I may post them on my next blog, (don’t worry you’ll remain anonymous)…unless of course you want to shot it to the world.
Here’s a new thing to try, but ancient idea. The ancient Chinese healing technique uses fine needles that are strategically placed throughout the body on specific points. The backstory ofacupuncture is quite fascinating, so we have gathered five interesting facts about its history.Acupuncture medicine is about 5,000 years old and originates in China…to lear more click here thinkacupuncture or click on my TV show featuring Pisces & Dr. George Berki, Chiropractor & Acupuncturist, a live demonstration with me as the subject.
I am looking for an ARIES for the next show, if you know anyone who has an interesting business or hobby, please email me at [email protected].
I’ve been updating my website (slow but sure) and would appreciate and feedback or comments. By the way you may now leave comments (scroll waaay down to comment box) and also if you feel so inspired and empowered leave a tip on the donate button, located at the sidebar.
Ziggy Starrdust & I thank you, and send our love & blessings your way,
