There is no reason not to follow your heart.” ~ Steve Jobs
The above quote was taken from the Steve Jobs book, to me it says it all. The subject at hand today is exemplified by the aforementioned quote. We, You, I, the guy next door, the criminal, the judge, the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker we’re all put here for a Divine Purpose. We are MEANT to follow our hearts and live that purpose.
If the next question you’re asking is “How do I know my purpose?” Well, I just told you, follow your heart in everything you do, every day, until one day it becomes your passion, pleasure and prosperity. Have the guts to be who YOU are, take the road less traveled, tread where others haven’t dared.
When I was preparing to leave Ohio a lot of people were pissed off, quite a few of my friends in the bunch. Why? Because people do not want to see people succeed, they fear the unknown, they don’t want to be left in the dust, they’re envious that you’re doing something courageous and following your heart. Now don’t get my wrong, not EVERYBODY but most people in this society are jealous of others doing something they only dreamed of, or maybe they quit dreaming years ago.
If you are hiding your own light under a bushel basket then it’s time you come out. God put you here to shine your light upon the world, and in a big way! This reminds me of another famous quote from Marianne Williamson, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I have gotten several signs from Spirit in the last few weeks, some repeatedly through cards and other avenues, dreams etc. that I am to shine my light, and own my inner power to serve the world and be of service to heal with light. Messages keep coming to me to use my gifts and talents (which I have been ignoring) up until today when a dream literally blasted me with the message.
