I had the good fortune to watch last night’s lunar eclipse from a friend’s rooftop balcony. It was an amazing experience, although these pictures aren’t mine (I had a cell phone), these are from last night’s eclipse here in California.
Let’s talk about what this eclipse means to you and me. The Full Moon in Libra, the Sun in Aries opposing each other. We have the warrior energy of the Sun (Aries) and the Peacemaker energy of the Moon (Libra). Not to mention there was a Cardinal Grand Cross going on with Pluto opposing Jupiter and both planets squaring off Mars and Uranus. That combination alone is like the Underworld (Pluto) opposing your Fairy Godmother (Jupiter) then Mars shows up hot, on fire and ready to start a war, and just when you thought the party couldn’t get any crazier, Uranus blows in like a tornado and throws a curve ball.
Relationship issues come to the forefront, Libra/Aries; this is where we need to look at our relationships and see the truth in them reflected back to us in the mirror. The Full Moon shines the light on the dark areas that we’ve pushed in the closet along with the skeletons from Pluto’s cave so we can finally look at them. The scales (Libra) beckons us to not only look at these shadows that go bump in the night, but to bring “balance” to what’s unsettled, or ‘tipping the scales’ so to speak.
Once dealt with, your white-water raft may just turn into a canoe, and if you’ve navigated the rough waters with enough finesse your boat may row merrily, merrily down the stream of life when the the New Moon in Taurus hits (which is a Solar Eclipse) on April 29th.
In the meantime to see where exactly in your chart this Lunar Eclipse shot a few bullets click here for the play-by-play scenario. As always, use this Full Moon to release what “no longer serves who you are and who you are becoming.” Let go of outdated beliefs, thought patterns, and people, places and things that aren’t on the vibratory path your soul is on.
Much Love to You,
