According to astrologer Cathy Pagano the Blue Moon is NOT when there are two full moons in a month but rather when there are two full moons in the same sign. This is happening at 9:45pm (EDT) on Tuesday August 20th. The Sun is in Leo and therefore the moon in in Aquarius. Sekhmet an ancient Egyptian lioness Goddess exemplifies the fiery destruction/trans-formative powers of the Sun/Leo.
The Aquarian energy is represented by the Sea-Nymph a mermaid emerging from the creative depths of the ocean awaiting rebirth as a human. The world is longing for a metamorphosis, the letting go of old stereotypes and moving toward a universal consciousness of helping humanity while staying true to what serves us (who we are and who we are becoming).
Let’s use this Full Moon to take a look at our lives and discard what no longer works for us, a time of purging of the soul. Take an inventory of your Soul and ask yourself:
- What no longer serves me?
- Clean out your closets
- Take an inventory of your relationships
- Take a look inside your refrigerator, see what is starting to look like a science experiment. Remember the refrigerator represents Food for Thought!
- Your automobile represents your body (the vehicle for your Soul), if you’re having health issues chances are your automobile is looking like a cluttered garage or basement
You get the picture…write your list of release on paper & put it in a burning bowl. Then go outside, look up at the Celestial Heavens, make a toast with a glass of wine, burn your list and get ready to shed your skin and call forth a new you! Then just enjoy the process because you ARE experiencing a healing, your life is about to shift.
