Upon drawing my Cards of the Week Sunday, I drew the Swan card from my Animal Deck. The Swan reminds us to Appreciate the Beauty inside and all around you. Then I asked the Universe what do my readers need to know this week and drew a card from my Osho Zen Tarot deck, the card of Participation. Lo and Behold, not to my surprise, the cards although different had very similar meanings.
The Swan represents looking and really ‘seeing’ the beauty and elegance of everything, from the tiniest leaf to the most gigantic tree, and all that’s in between. Not judging what you see or experience as good or bad; instead appreciate the precious uniqueness of the diverse elements that make up this wonderful world in which we exist. At the same time, let’s remember to appreciate your own beauty and the magnificent being that you are!
The Participation Mandala card represents the circulatory flow of giving and receiving, where all the individuals taking part make a unique contribution to create a unified and vital whole. You have an opportunity to participate with others
now to make your contribution to creating something greater and more beautiful than each of you could manage alone.
In such a beautiful world we are living in small ponds of our own misery, It is familiar, so even if somebody wants to pull you out, you struggle. You don’t want to be pulled out of your misery. Otherwise there is so much joy all around, you just have to be aware ot it and to become a participant, not a spectator. Philosophy is speculation, Zen is participation.
So this week, take time with me of participate in the night leaving, participate in the evening coming, participate in the stars and participate in the clouts; if you’re like me I’m going to be participating in that colossal luminous silvery ball in the sky, my favorite the MOON, make participation your lifestyle and the whole existence becomes such a joy, such an ecstasy. You cold not have dreamed of a better universe.
