Starr Food-Tonight’s Full Moon & How it Relates to the Coronavirus & What it Means to YOU!

April 7, 2020by Eva Starr0

The year 2020 started out with an eclipse and a Saturn Pluto conjunction, without going into too much complicated Astrology, this is the stuff that defines “what needs to change before all hell breaks loose.” The last time this type of Astrological phenomenon happened was (1981-84) with the Aids epidemic.

This is era-defining astrology. The kind that you look at with decades in mind, not just the day, week or month it happens within. The planetary patterns that have and are occurring are events that astrologers pay attention to. They are red flags telling us that the power dynamics in play are more likely to be foul; the difficulties faced by entire populations exaggerated; that illness is to be expected, and downturns are a given. ~ Chani Nicholas

With Saturn, then Jupiter passing over Pluto in Capricorn, several times until it’s made its last aspect, it demands, not asks, it DEMANDS that we go deep in understanding grief, loss in a world we once knew, Capricorn insists that we get back to being grounded, honoring the Earth and our own beliefs with integrity and honesty.

Saturn represents restriction, limits, boundaries (quarantine) it is our LESSON MAKER! Saturn’s transit which typically lasts about two-and-a-half years entered Capricorn December 19, 2017, then transited into Aquarius, March 21st (the height of the Coronavirus) which it will stay until it retrogrades back into Capricorn, July 1st, 2020, for the final six months. Saturn, affectionately known as Father Time speaks to the finality of things. Saturn is the stern father, always there to remind us of our lessons, lest we insist on learning them the hard way.

Pluto, lord of the underworld entered Capricorn January 25th, 2008, where it will remain until January 21st, 2024. Pluto’s lessons are slow transformations, asking us to dig deep, then did even deeper until we gone through the process of death, rebirth and renewal. Pluto gets at the core of things, no dusting the surface here. On April 4, 2020 we had a conjunction of Pluto/Jupiter. Jupiter is known as the Santa Claus of the Zodiac, but even Jolly Ol’ St. Nick meeting up with Underworld Pluto can’t bestow it’s Heavenly charms upon us at full throttle.

We’re being asked to examine our core beliefs, our foundations, right down to the nth degree, to see if they can withstand the test of time, the trials and tribulations they are being put through. If they can, then we will rise from the ashes triumphant, if not, we will be left holding a bag of coal.

Pluto’s caves and caverns are the deepest; moving through them means getting to the root. Working with this planet is radical because it falls for no flirtation. It wants us to know, more honestly than ever, that at our core we have the wisdom needed to meet this situation and feel our way towards its solutions. Inch by inch and a little at a time we will come to trust ourselves, our intuition, and creative responses to this moment. More and more coming to understand that we are in control of none of it, but in relationship to all of it.  ~ Chani Nicholas

Today’s Full Moon in Libra squares this Pluto/Jupiter conjunction. Libra is all about community, partnerships, performing the perfect balancing act. Social distancing should be called PHYSICAL distancing, it’s not about forgetting your part in the community, leaving your friends and family in a cave, feeling more isolated than they already are. The world has gone in the opposite direction of its intention, we are all in this together. The opposite of Libra, (Moon) is Aries, (Sun), that is today’s Full Moon, Libra Moon is opposite the Aries Sun. This is where we need to find the balance, all me vs community.

Get creative folks, there ARE ways to stay in touch with loved ones and family. People will always need people, you can still be safe, while letting your loved ones and friends know you’re there for them.

‘It is during the worst times of your life that you will get to see the true colors of the people who say they care for you.’

Unfortunately, the above quote is sad but true. I’m blessed that I have a handful of true friends, but saddened to come to the realization of what I’ve always know deep down.

Tonight’s Full Moon occurs at 19* Libra at 10:35pm/EDT & 7:35pm/PDT. The Moon will rise at 7:38pm here in Cleveland, OH.
