As many of you know I loooooooove to read! I read mostly metaphysical, but still love to read period! I just finished Illusions by Richard Bach. I am slow to discovering him. A friend turned me onto him when I moved back to Ohio, first reading Hypnotizing Maria, then Jonathan Livingston Seagull, now Illusions, (which I totally loved.) If you visit his website you’ll find he has several books, which I intend to make my way through.
Illusions reminds me a lot of what they talk about in the Course in Miracles, but in an interresting story form. It makes one think, at least it did me. It reminded me of what I used to say when I was teaching the Louise Hay work, “your life is a movie, you wrote the script, put the actors in it, and decided how it’s going to turn out.” Now if you say to me elsewise, then I suggest you pick up a copy of Illusions. You see we DO decide every single moment by the choices we make how our day is going to be, how we react to any given situation, even all those not-so-nice situations we chose because we felt we needed those lessons. The only thing that IS real, is L-O-V-E! Everything else is an illusion we created and bought into…go ahead you think I’ve really gone over the edge this time. That’s OK, read the book Illusions then get back to me.
