Soul Food-February is Bursting with Planetary Changes

There’s a lot happening in Astrology this month, so let’s take it step by step, in order.

We start the month of Feb. 1st, with a Full Moon in Leo (13*), not to worry if you missed it. We’ve had so much snow here in Cleveland, OH, but the night before, it was a crystal-clear black sky, and out my living room floor-to-ceiling windows, the Moon was shining ever so bright, as I heard in my head “Full Moon” by Brandy.

As you’ve learned from reading my blogs, the Full Moon is about release, and letting go of what no longer serves who you are and who you are becoming! I did do a Full Moon  Releasing Ritual, with the corresponding herbs, oils, and crystals to “Be Gone” any negative influence that dares to rear its ugly head, involving a few choice situations in my life. Prayers, please. Dealing with government agencies isn’t fun. Rosie and I have been waiting for this adoption process for going on three years now.

Next, on Tuesday, February 3rd, Uranus—the change agent—finally goes direct at 27° Taurus (Alleluia). Celebrate with “Break Free” by Ariana Grande, as Uranus will make its way toward Gemini on April 25th, where it will remain until May 22, 2033.

Today, Friday, February 6th, Mercury, Messenger of the Gods, will enter Pisces, the Fish; people will start speaking from the heart, with “Songbird” by Fleetwood Mac playing in the background, although they’ll still be dazed and confused.

Not to be outdone, Lady Venus joins the band on February 10, entering Pisces as well. I can hear Andrea Bocelli singing “Perfect Symphony.” Don’t be surprised if, in the middle of the night, someone serenades you from under the stars and your balcony window.

On Feb. 13th, Saturn, Father Time, the Task Master, the Lesson Maker (pick one, they’re all apropos), enters Aries, the Ram, where it will stay until it enters Taurus, our Bull, on April 14, 2028. I’m actually looking forward to this one, as I have Aries Rising, and it’s time to take action, full speed ahead, I can hear Queen singing “Don’t Stop Me Now.”

On February 17th, we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius. Cue “Starman” by David Bowie for celestial vibes and, as it also marks the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse, let Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” play loud and clear!

The following day, on February 18th, the Sun enters Pisces. Take me back to “Dream a Little Dream of Me” by Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong.

It’s that time again. On February 26th, Mercury Stations Retrograde at 22* Pisces. I can hear Taylor Swift singing “Glitch” as I write this.

February will go out with a bang, on the 28th, when Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus & Neptune will provide a planetary parade in the night sky. What better way to end the month than listening to ol’ blue-eyes himself, singing Fly Me to the Moon.

If that doesn’t make your head spin, you might want to check your pulse.

Stay tuned, I will be writing about some of these planetary events as they happen. I’ll definitely send out my Mercury Retrograde Survival Guide as we get closer to the station.

Everyone, have a heart-filled Valentine’s Day. The Capricorn Moon does trine (a favorable aspect) the Taurean Uranus later that night!
